The Team

DC

David Cowen

After completing my Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) at Monash University I joined Luca Giovannetti at APF in 2003.

As the main finance consultant I meet with every APF client to discuss their loan scenario and product options. As part of this process I will look to establish the long term goals and objectives for each client.

I particularly enjoy the close relationships I have developed with my clients and being a part of their financial journey.

Outside of work I enjoy hacking my way around a golf course and supporting Carlton’s quest for a 17th premiership.

I recently joined the team at APF at the start of 2013, following 11 years working as a broker writing residential and business loans.  I have been in the finance industry for over 20 years and have experienced a myriad of loan scenarios over that time.

My role within the business is to research options for clients and ensure that their applications for loans are presented/wrtten in the best way to the lenders, to give us the best chance of obtaining an approval in the shortest time.

I enjoy finding lending solutions for clients and helping them to achieve their own goals, whether it be a first home buyer or investor, multiple investor or commercial client.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my kids, playing tennis and other sports and following the V8 Supercars and mighty Blues.

My role at APF is Personal Assistant to David Cowen.

Once David has researched the best scenario for you and submitted your application, the file is handed to me for management until settlement.    I monitor your loan’s progress, escalate where required and keep in touch with yourself, the lender and David.

If you are purchasing a property, I will also liaise with your solicitor/conveyancer to assist with the smooth running of your purchase.   Being a Legal Secretary for 10 years in the past, this has given me an understanding of conveyancing which is useful when dealing with purchase settlements.

I joined the team at APF in 2011 after studying marketing at RMIT.

Commencing as a receptionist, I soon progressed to office administration and marketing.

My role is to manage the marketing department, coordinate client administration needs, and assist Tara and David in the early stages of your application.

Luca Giovannetti

I founded APF in 2003 after completing a Bachelor of Business (Acc) at Swinburne University. During my eight years of managing APF, up until late 2011, I formed valued networks and relationships whilst developing a skill set which has allowed my transition into property.

In 2009 Urban Growth Property Partners was created to focus on bringing affordable housing to market in Victoria’s growth corridors. www.urbangrowth.com.au

Today David and the team run a professional dynamic business that focuses on delivering results for our clients.
